Dr Ekaterina (Katya) P Burova is a highly esteemed consultant dermatologist and dermatology lead at Bedford Hospital NHS Trust, where she has been serving since 1996. She also practices privately at the HCA Harley Street Clinic in London since 2013. Dr Burova graduated from the First Moscow Medical School, I. M. Sechenov, and completed her higher specialist training in dermatology and venereology at the same institution.

Dr Burova's areas of expertise include general dermatology, skin cancers, skin surgery, paediatric dermatology, acne, rosacea, and urticaria. She is particularly skilled in procedures such as skin biopsies, dermoscopy, skin cancer screening, patch tests, and skin cancer surgery. Her extensive experience also covers conditions like psoriasis, eczema, hyperhidrosis, alopecia areata, and vulval diseases.

In addition to her clinical roles, Dr Burova has a strong academic background. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (London) in 2006 and the title of Associated Professor in Russia in 2019. She has held teaching positions at the I.M.
