Eleni Anastasiadis is a highly esteemed Consultant Urological Surgeon at Croydon University Hospital and St George's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She completed her medical degree with Honours at Leicester University Medical School in 2008, earning the Phillip Hammersley Gold Medal for the best academic performance and distinctions in every core area of study. Eleni also received the Dean's Salver for her exceptional non-academic contributions as a student leader and tutor.

As a junior doctor, Eleni secured two prestigious National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Academic Clinical Fellowships. She furthered her education with an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and began her Specialist Urological training in the South London region. During her training, she had the opportunity to work with world-leading urologists at St George's Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, gaining comprehensive expertise in Urology.

In 2019, Eleni was appointed as a substantive consultant at Croydon University Hospital and an Honorary Consultant at St George's Hospital. At Croydon, she provides general urological services, including minimally invasive endoscopic prostate surgery (bipolar resection) for urinary symptoms, circumcisions, vasectomies, hydrocele surgery, testicular and scrotal surgeries, ureteric stone surgery, and diagnostic procedures such as cystoscopies.

Eleni has established and runs the Andrology service, offering specialist clinics for erectile dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, chronic prostatitis, chronic scrotal pain, Peyronie's disease, complex penile reconstructive surgery, male infertility, urethral strictures, microsurgical varicocele treatment, and testicular and scrotal surgeries. At St George's Hospital, she is an active member of the supra-network Penile Cancer and benign Andrology teams. She also participates in the Croydon Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), reviewing and advising on urological cancers and other conditions.

Eleni is deeply involved in research and clinical education. She runs the Urology Academic meeting at Croydon Hospital, providing a platform for learning and staying updated with the latest research. Additionally, she serves as an Educational Supervisor to Foundation Year doctors.
