Dr Farhan Shahid is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. His expertise covers a wide range of cardiovascular conditions including chest pain management (including microvascular angina), palpitations, shortness of breath, syncope, cardiac arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, hypertension, heart attack, and heart failure. Dr Shahid specialises in handling complex PCI procedures using advanced techniques such as orbital atherectomy, rotablation, and intravascular lithotripsy.
Additionally, he is proficient in echocardiography, intravascular ultrasound, and optical coherence tomography, and is accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography.
