    Dr Gajan Rajeswaran is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at University College Hospital London, specialising in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging with a subspecialist interest in elite sport. He is highly experienced in musculoskeletal imaging, including the full range of image-guided musculoskeletal interventions and injections.

    Dr Rajeswaran completed his medical training at Imperial College London. He was appointed as a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in 2011, following two post-Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) fellowships in musculoskeletal imaging at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He also worked as a locum consultant across North West London before moving to University College Hospital London in 2017 to further his research interests.

    At Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Dr Rajeswaran served as Co-lead for Musculoskeletal Imaging and Joint Training Programme Director, responsible for 20 radiology trainees, including two musculoskeletal imaging fellows, until 2017. His expertise in elite sports imaging is well-recognised, having worked as a radiologist at the Glasgow XX Commonwealth Games 2014 and the UEFA Euro 2016 Football Tournament. He currently collaborates with several Barclays Premier League Football and Aviva Premier League Rugby Clubs.

    Dr Rajeswaran is an international lecturer and teacher, regularly presenting at national and international scientific research meetings. He has 16 radiological publications in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored two textbooks. He is also a tutor on the ‘Hands On' musculoskeletal MRI course at the British Institute of Radiology. With a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education, he plays an active role in training, organising and teaching on several courses.

    Dr Rajeswaran's areas of expertise include musculoskeletal ultrasound, CT scans, MRI scans, and image-guided musculoskeletal interventions and injections. He also offers video consultations. He treats a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries and sports injuries.
