    Mr Gurdeep Biring is a highly esteemed Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Buckingham. Specialising in knee and hip surgery, he possesses particular expertise in primary hip and knee joint replacement, minimally invasive joint replacement surgery, hip and knee arthroscopy, revision joint replacement surgery, hip resurfacing, and sports injuries. Since 2007, Mr Biring has been a pivotal figure at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe General Hospitals, part of the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, where he serves as the Arthroplasty Lead. Additionally, he is the Director of the Hip2kneeclinic, a private joint restoration and replacement surgery service operating at BMI The Chiltern Hospital, BMI The Shelburne Hospital, and Spire Thames Valley Hospital.

    Mr Biring's medical journey began in 1995 when he obtained his medical degree from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. He then pursued Trauma and Orthopaedics training through the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore Rotation, one of the largest orthopaedic registrar training programmes. It was here that he developed a keen interest in lower limb arthroplasty surgery. In 2003, he earned a Master of Science Degree with Distinction in Orthopaedic Engineering, followed by the Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons (FRCS) Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery.

    Mr Biring's dedication to his field was further recognised when he received a Surgical Research Grant from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, enabling him to undertake specialty training in hip and knee reconstruction at the Vancouver General and Health Sciences Centre in Canada from 2005-2006. Throughout his illustrious career, he has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious Davenport Research Award from Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

    His research interests have led to the publication of several articles focused on the management of patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. He is frequently invited to present his academic research at various conferences. Committed to advancing the field of trauma and orthopaedics, Mr Biring remains actively involved in research and maintains strong connections with academic and research institutions worldwide.

    Outside of his clinical responsibilities, Mr Biring enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is also an avid golfer, cricket enthusiast, and enjoys travelling and attending comedy shows.
