    Dr Guy Chung-Faye is a consultant gastroenterologist at King's College Hospital and London Bridge Private Hospital. He has been serving patients since his appointment in 2002. Dr Chung-Faye specialises in treating a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including gastro-intestinal cancer, gastroenteritis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, dyspepsia, bloating, and reflux. He is particularly skilled in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

    Dr Chung-Faye graduated from the University of Leicester Medical School in 1991 and earned a PhD from the University of Birmingham for his research on Gene Therapy in Colon Cancer. He is a nationally qualified Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopist with a colonoscopy completion rate of over 95 per cent and very high endoscopic comfort scores. He has multiple peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters to his name and is actively involved in research on IBD, cancer, and genetics.

    In addition to his clinical roles, Dr Chung-Faye previously served as the Clinical Lead in Upper GI Cancer for 15 years and is the current director of Bowel Cancer Screening. He is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology, the Medical Protection Society, and the Royal College of Physicians. Outside of his professional life, Dr Chung-Faye enjoys playing tennis and learning languages.
