About Dr Haider Jaber
Dr Haider Jaber is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong background in both NHS and private healthcare. He qualified as a GP in 2012 and has since developed a reputation for delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. After more than a decade in the NHS, he transitioned into private practice to offer patients longer appointment times, greater continuity, and a more proactive approach to their health.
He is the founder of a private GP practice in London and provides a wide range of services, including face-to-face clinic appointments, home visits, and remote consultations via telephone or video. Dr Jaber also offers 24/7 private medical care every day of the year in his practice at Seen Clinic London, ensuring patients have access to expert GP care whenever they need it. His approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of patients, ensuring they receive timely, personalised support in a way that works best for them.
Dr Jaber’s clinical interests include men’s health, weight management, addiction support, and longevity medicine. He leads a CQC-regulated slimming clinic, offering long-term medical and lifestyle programmes to support patients with weight loss using evidence-based interventions. He is also experienced in managing testosterone replacement therapy and performs detailed hormonal assessments as part of his men's health services.
In addition to routine GP services, Dr Jaber has an interest in cancer prevention and screening. He provides cancer risk assessments and access to advanced screening tools, including genetic testing and early cancer detection panels. His practice also supports patients concerned about ADHD, offering initial assessments, referrals and shared care prescribing agreements in collaboration with specialist psychiatric clinics.
Known for his warm, attentive manner, Dr Jaber takes pride in delivering holistic care. He believes in helping patients not only with their immediate concerns but also in promoting long-term wellbeing and preventive health.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you do what you do?
I chose to become a GP because I love the variety and diversity of both the conditions I treat and the patients I care for—ranging from newborns to the elderly. Each consultation is different and stimulating, which keeps me motivated. As a GP, I have the privilege of wearing many hats—one day supporting addiction recovery, another day helping someone optimise their hormonal health. Becoming a private GP allowed me to give patients the time and attention they deserve. In the NHS, appointments were often limited to 10 minutes. In private practice, appointments range from 30 minutes to an hour and even longer for screening appointments. This allows me not just to treat their immediate concern but to help improve their overall health outcomes, which is a more rewarding and effective way to practice medicine.
What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?
I see a wide range of issues, particularly seasonal illnesses like coughs, colds, and chest infections. Many patients also come to me for help with weight management, including support through nutrition and full slimming programmes. Cancer concerns are also common, especially for bowel, breast, and prostate cancers, with many patients seeking screening or prevention. Tiredness is another frequent complaint—this could stem from psychological or physiological causes, and I perform in-depth hormonal and health assessments. ADHD and broader mental health issues are also rising areas; while I’m not a psychiatrist, I work in shared care with specialist clinics to support patients with diagnosis and ongoing treatment.
What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?
We offer comprehensive diagnostics including blood tests (e.g. well-man/woman profiles, autoimmune panels, menopause checks), urine testing, and sexual health screenings. We also provide advanced cancer screening, including TrueCheck tests, and genetic testing for health planning or pre-conception. Through our network, we arrange MRIs, ultrasounds, DEXA scans, and more at clinics like at renowned private London hospitals. Our screening packages are tailored by age, gender, and individual medical needs, and may include further referrals for scans like coronary CTs or prostate MRIs. We aim to provide a seamless, full-service diagnostic pathway for all our patients.
What are your areas of sub-specialist interest?
My main areas of specialist interest are men’s health—including hormonal assessment and testosterone replacement therapy—addiction recovery, and weight management. I’ve undertaken additional training in these fields to offer patients a comprehensive, evidence-based approach. These areas allow me to make a significant difference in people’s lives, both physically and mentally.
