Mr Hany Zayed is a highly experienced vascular and endo-vascular consultant surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He qualified from medical school in 1994 and went on to complete a master’s degree (MSc) in 1999, followed by an MD in 2004. Mr Zayed was appointed to his current role in 2008 and led the vascular service at the trust from 2016 to 2018.

Mr Zayed has a special interest in the endo-vascular management of arterial diseases, including complex endo-vascular and open revascularisation of the lower limb. He is particularly focused on treating patients with diabetes and is skilled in performing endo-vascular aortic aneurysm repairs as well as endovenous treatments for varicose veins.

Throughout his career, Mr Zayed has contributed extensively to his field with a wide range of peer-reviewed publications. He is a respected speaker and is regularly invited to present at national and international vascular conferences.
