Dr Hoda Temple is a consultant rheumatologist with over two decades of experience, practising at HCA UK at The Wilmslow Hospital and holding a consultant role at the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust since 2016, where she serves as clinical lead for rheumatology. She runs specialist clinics in early arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease–related arthritis, overseeing service development, clinical modernisation, and governance to uphold best-practice standards.

She treats a wide range of rheumatic disorders including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, back pain, fibromyalgia, gout, frozen shoulder, and tennis elbow. She has a holistic approach to patient care, with professional training in nutrition and lifestyle interventions, and additional qualifications in life coaching.

Her engagement in academic medicine is significant, as she continues to lead and contribute to rheumatology research. She is principal investigator in multiple clinical trials and observational studies and actively participates in advancing the evidence base of her field. She maintains membership in professional societies supporting rheumatology research and practice.

Outside her clinical and research commitments, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family, including cycling, hiking, skiing, camping, paddleboarding, and scuba diving. She brings this passion for holistic living into both her personal life and medical practice.
