Mr J Meirion Thomas is a distinguished consultant surgeon with a wealth of experience in the field of surgical oncology. He served at the Royal Marsden Hospital from 1986 until his retirement in March 2015. During his tenure, he was the senior surgeon on the Sarcoma and Melanoma Units and held the position of lead surgeon from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, from 2007 to 2012, he was honoured with the title of Professor of Surgical Oncology at Imperial College.

Currently, Mr Thomas is in full-time private practice at the Lister Hospital, where he continues to provide exceptional care to his patients. He has a special interest in thyroid and salivary gland surgery and has performed over 500 operations on parotid tumours. His expertise extends to providing rapid access for patients with skin lesions at The Lister Hospital and Chelsea Outpatient Centre.
