Prof. James Spratt is an interventional cardiologist at St George's Hospital, London, and a professor of cardiology at St George's, University of London. He is a globally recognised expert in complex coronary disease and is internationally acclaimed for his knowledge of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Prof. Spratt is a key innovator and educational expert, having performed live case demonstrations at conferences around the world.

Prof. Spratt specialises in the treatment of chronically blocked coronary arteries and has published numerous research articles in this area. His areas of interest include hypertension, angiography, coronary and ischaemic heart disease, interventional cardiology, cardiomyopathy, angioplasty, and the percutaneous treatment of chronic total occlusions of the coronary arteries. He is also interested in exercise physiology and metabolic dysregulation.

Outside of his professional work, Prof. Spratt enjoys road-biking, snowboarding, mountain-biking, and swimming. He has been a dedicated member of the medical community since his appointment and continues to contribute significantly to the field of cardiology.
