Mr Jan Herzog is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and surgical management of conditions affecting the spine. He practises privately at HCA Healthcare UK, including The Princess Grace Hospital and Elstree Waterfront Outpatients, and holds a consultant position at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.

Mr Herzog completed his surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics in Germany in 2012. During his training, he also obtained an MSc from the University of Oxford and undertook a visiting fellowship at a Harvard University teaching hospital. He later moved to the UK to pursue advanced spinal training, completing specialist fellowships at Frimley Park Hospital, St George’s Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

His clinical expertise includes the management of degenerative spinal conditions, spinal deformity and complex spinal disorders in both adults and children. He treats conditions such as scoliosis, spinal stenosis, disc disease, spinal fractures, myeloma-related spinal involvement and osteoporotic fractures.
