Mr Jay Goswamy is a distinguished Consultant ENT surgeon at The Wilmslow Hospital. He specialises in both adult and paediatric ENT, covering a wide range of conditions including diseases of the neck, larynx, salivary glands, thyroid, sinuses, throat, ears, skin, and airway. His expertise extends to complex procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, grommets, wax clearance, eardrum repair, pinnaplasty, sinus surgery, septoplasty, removal of skin lesions, thyroidectomy, salivary gland surgery, neck dissection, voice surgery, throat cancer surgery, airway surgery, laser surgery, and snoring surgery.

Jay completed his medical education with distinction at The University of Sheffield and further honed his skills with specialist training in Manchester. He also undertook a prestigious head and neck cancer fellowship at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London, gaining additional insights from leading surgeons in New York, Toronto, and Melbourne.

In his NHS role, Jay serves as the Clinical Director for ENT Surgery at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, overseeing services at Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington, and Altrincham. He is also the chair of the North West Shared Airway MDT, coordinating the management of patients with complex upper airway conditions.

Jay is passionate about medical education and serves as the Undergraduate Lead for ENT in South Manchester. He is also an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons. Appointed in 2016, Jay continues to contribute significantly to the field of ENT through his clinical practice, leadership roles, and dedication to teaching.
