Dr Jennifer Byrom is an experienced consultant gynaecologist specialising in gynaecological oncology. With over twenty years of experience, she is based at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and also sees private patients at The Harborne Hospital.

At Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Dr Byrom serves as the clinical lead for colposcopy and vulval diseases. She has a special interest in HPV-related diseases, making her a leading expert in this area.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr Byrom holds the role of Trust's Clinical Service Planning Lead (CSPL), where she contributes to strategic planning and service development initiatives. She has also served as the Chair of the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) training and accreditation committee for four years.

Dr Byrom completed her medical degree at the University of London in 1993 and joined the General Medical Council's specialist register in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2005. Her extensive experience and dedication to her field make her a highly respected figure in gynaecological oncology.
