Frequently asked questions

  • Why do you do what you do?

In short, I want to help people. I am fascinated with the human body and the way it functions and moves. Everyone moves differently! I enjoy assessing the way people move, I then use this to help my patients optimise that movement to improve pain and function and reach their desired goals.

  • What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?

Most of my patients present with pain and discomfort in various areas such as shoulder, neck, lower back, knee, hip, ankle and TMJ. Some patients want advice or education on how to improve their form in a particular sport/hobby or want to discuss injury prevention.

  • What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

Treatments can range from exercise rehabilitation (mat or gym based), manual therapy, taping, acupuncture. The treatment provided will be bespoke to the individual patient and their problem to reach their desired goal.

  • What are your areas of sub-specialist interest?

My subspecialist interests are rotator cuff related shoulder pain and cervicogenic headaches.
