Prof. Jian Farhadi is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and also sees patients privately, including at The London Bridge Hospital. He specialises in reconstructive, aesthetic, and corrective breast surgery, as well as surgery after weight loss. As a microsurgeon, he offers patients various types of reconstruction, including DIEP, SGAP, and TMG flaps. He has extensive experience in reconstructive surgery after double mastectomy using either the patient's own tissue or implants combined with a matrix.

Prof. Farhadi was the past Director of the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital. He earned his medical degree at the University of Basel, Switzerland, and the University Pitié-Salpetrière in Paris, France. His general and plastic surgical residencies were completed in Switzerland and at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

He is actively involved in teaching and research on breast augmentation and breast reconstruction and is regularly invited to international meetings to lecture on the subject. Prof Farhadi is the author of over 70 publications and several book chapters. He is also the Co-director of the European Master in Breast Surgery, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Prof. Farhadi is the Founder and a Trustee of the Bra Foundation charity, Chairman of the London Breast Meeting, and a reader at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Basel in Switzerland.
