Dr. J Andreas Hoschtitzky is a distinguished cardiac surgeon with a specialisation in reoperative surgery for complex congenital heart disease, extended myectomy for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and heart valve repair and replacement. He earned his medical degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands and completed his postgraduate cardiac surgical training in London, Bristol, and Manchester. Additionally, he undertook Congenital Cardiac Fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Evelina Children's Hospitals in London.

Dr. Hoschtitzky has been practising at the Royal Brompton Hospitals since his appointment in 2009.
