Ms Jyoti Patel is a highly experienced Consultant Podiatrist, running clinics in central and northwest London, as well as at several hospitals in Hertfordshire. She qualified in Podiatric Medicine from the Sussex School of Chiropody in Eastbourne in 1989.

Ms Patel began her career in the NHS as a Chiropodist & Podiatrist at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, part of the East Herts NHS Trust. At the time of her appointment, there was no existing foot care or foot health service. Over a decade, she established and developed a reputable service, which included training junior staff in diabetic foot care. She was also an active member of the Northwest Rheumatology Group, where she treated patients and trained staff. Additionally, Ms Patel lectured at the Hertfordshire School of Nursing and presented to various specialities and groups. In 1999, she took a brief hiatus to start a family.

In 2000, Ms Patel returned to podiatry and established a private practice at her home. She developed a particular interest in biomechanics, sports injuries, musculoskeletal podiatry, orthotics, and mechanical therapy. Her expertise led her to collaborate closely with a range of medical and surgical consultants, which naturally resulted in invitations to provide her services at private hospitals. Over time, Ms Patel has built a reputable musculoskeletal podiatric practice, receiving referrals from consultants in orthopaedics, general surgery, endocrinology, rheumatology, physiotherapy, and other healthcare practitioners.

Ms Patel's areas of expertise include gait analysis, computerised foot scans, force plate analysis, foot orthoses, orthopaedic footwear, and the treatment of corns, callouses, ingrown toenails, and verrucae. She is also skilled in addressing biomechanics, gait problems, postural problems, foot deformities, and sports injuries.
