Miss Kavita Singh's is well known in UK for her advanced surgical skills for complex pelvic surgery. Her medical training began in India and continued in England. The majority of her training took place at The Royal Free Hospital, London, where she worked in pelvic floor dysfunction and general gynaecology.

She moved to Birmingham for subspecialisation in gynaecological oncology and has been a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at Pan-Birmingham Gynaecological Cancer Centre since 2005.

She specialises in complex pelvic surgical procedures required in management of advanced ovarian cancer and recurrent pelvic cancers.

Miss Kavita Singh's second strength is advanced laparoscopic surgery for cervical, uterine and early ovarian cancers.

Her special interest is fertility preserving surgery like trachelectomy for cervical cancer, which she has modified and improved the techniques from, vaginal to abdominal and now laparoscopic approach.

Miss Kavita Singh is actively involved in surgical training in UK and abroad. She is program director for subspecialty training in Gynaeoncology at Birmingham. She regularly trains advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques at European Surgical Institute at Hamburg, Germany and in India.

She is actively involved in research and regularly publishes and is a reviewer for national and international Gynaecology and Gynaeoncology journals.
