Dr Kenn Lim is a consultant gynaecologist with 14 years of experience, practising at HCA UK at The Wilmslow Hospital and serving as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Salford Royal Hospital since September 2020. He has a special interest in minimal access surgery in gynaecology and advanced laparoscopic techniques, having trained at the Northwest Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Centre in Manchester where he developed his expertise in these approaches.

At his NHS base, he is the theatre lead for gynaecology and implemented day-case hysterectomy services, achieving one of the best rates for such procedures in the region. From an educational standpoint, he is part of the faculty for the GESEA programme associated with BSGE in the UK and serves as an OSCE examiner at Manchester Medical School. He regularly organises laparoscopic and hysteroscopic training courses for trainees and was nominated for Trainer of the Year in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2024. His subspecialties include laparoscopic (key-hole) gynaecological surgery.

He performs a broad range of procedures including endometrial biopsy, hysteroscopy, uterine polyp removal, abdominal hysterectomy, diagnostic laparoscopy, dilation and curettage, fibroid surgery, myomectomy, oophorectomy, hysteroscopic resection of fibroids, intrauterine device insertion and removal, endometrial ablation, coil insertion, tubal ligation, and emergency gynaecology interventions. He treats a wide spectrum of conditions such as menstrual irregularities, heavy periods, menopausal symptoms, post-menopausal bleeding, adenomyosis, adhesions, complex benign gynaecology, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, and other benign uterine, vaginal, and vulvar disorders.
