She completed her medical degree in 1996 from Aegean University in Turkey and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2012. Dr Yelden furthered her expertise by completing a PhD in rehabilitation from University College London in 2019 and holds an LLM in Medical Law and Ethics from De Montfort University.

Dr Yelden has an extensive background in working with patients with complex neurological conditions. She has previously worked at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability and currently practices as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at The Wellington Hospital and The Platinum Medical Centre.
