Dr Laura Corr is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Harley Street Clinic and Guy's and St Thomas' Foundation Trust. Laura qualified in medicine at University College Hospital in 1981 and completed higher medical training at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School. In 1991, she earned a PhD in vascular biology from University College London and the Royal Brompton Hospital.

Laura's career in cardiology began with a Senior Registrar post at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School and St Mary's Hospital, London. She then received a Royal Society of Medicine European Fellowship to study advanced interventional techniques in France, where she trained in complex angioplasty, stenting, and other cutting-edge procedures.

Returning to the UK, Laura became a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Brook Hospital, performing over 400 procedures annually. In 1995, she was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, where she managed all aspects of adult cardiology and trained specialist registrars, nursing, and technical staff.

Laura has been a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology since 1995 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians since 1997. She has published extensively on risk factor management and angioplasty and served as Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal for eight years. Her clinical interests include ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, among others.
