Dr Lucy Ostlere is a highly experienced Consultant Dermatologist at St George's University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She graduated with Honours from St Bartholomew’s Medical College and also holds a BSc in Psychology from University College London. With over 25 years of experience in Dermatology, Dr Ostlere has trained in leading Dermatology departments including Chelsea and Westminster, the Royal Free, Kingston, and St George’s Hospitals.

Dr Ostlere's specialist research on atopic eczema earned her an MD, and she has published over 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals. She was appointed Consultant Dermatologist at St George’s and Kingston Hospitals upon completing her training. At St George's Hospital, she has served as Clinical Lead and is an Educational Supervisor. She also organises Dermatology Education meetings for GPs and regularly lectures to GPs, Dermatology trainees, and medical students.

Her areas of expertise include acne, eczema, the diagnosis of contact dermatitis, skin cancer screening, and the management of skin cancer. She is proficient in both surgical and non-surgical treatments, including photodynamic therapy. Dr Ostlere is a member of several prestigious organisations, including the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Medical Association, the European Society for Cutaneous Allergy, the Royal College of Physicians, and the Royal Society of Medicine.

Dr Ostlere has been recognised in the Tatler Doctors Guide as one of the top 250 medical consultants in England and one of the top 10 Dermatologists. Vogue has also recommended her for her management of acne, praising her supportive manner and excellent track record with teenagers.
