Mr Michael Dooley is a Consultant Gynaecologist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He is the Medical Director of The Poundbury Clinic, which offers a holistic, integrated approach to female health care.

Mr Dooley qualified from Imperial Hospital London and completed his postgraduate training in Ireland, Oxford, and London. His postgraduate thesis focused on hormone measurement and premenstrual syndrome. He also conducted research on menopause and hormonal changes during exercise.

With over 30 years of experience in fertility care, Mr Dooley played a key role in establishing The Lister Fertility Unit, where he continues to provide personalised care packages for his patients. He runs clinics in Dorchester, Dorset, and London.

Mr Dooley is a Past President of The Section of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Royal Society of Medicine and serves as a Council Member and Treasurer of The College of Medicine.

He has a special interest in gynaecological issues related to sport. He was the lead gynaecologist at the London 2012 Olympics and served as Director of Sports Medicine and Science for the British Equestrian Federation for eight years. Currently, he is part of an International Olympic Committee on exercise and pregnancy.

Mr Dooley is also deeply invested in fertility and runs educational programmes for health professionals and patients on reproductive health. He is committed to providing individualised, patient-centred care using the most appropriate evidence-based conventional and complementary medicine.
