Dr Michael van der Watt is a Consultant Cardiologist at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, where he also serves as the Medical Director. Specialising in pacemaker implantation, Dr van der Watt has a keen interest in angina, valvular disease, and syncope. He completed his undergraduate training in Cape Town, South Africa, and specialised in internal medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital before moving to the UK to focus on cardiology.
