Dr Michael Chapman is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at The Princess Grace Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK. He specialises in Pancreaticobiliary medicine, Hepatology, and Interventional Endoscopy. Dr Chapman has a particular interest in conditions of the liver and pancreas and is highly skilled in performing general endoscopy and complex ERCP, including pancreatic endotherapy and SpyGlass Cholangioscopy for strictures and complex gallstone disease.
Dr Chapman qualified from UCL Medical School in 1997 and completed his specialist training in London. He holds an MBBS, MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians (2001), and a PhD from UCL (2011). He has been practising as a consultant since 2010.
His areas of expertise include general gastroenterology, hepatology, and HPB medicine. He treats a wide range of conditions such as liver disease, hepatitis, jaundice, acute and chronic pancreatitis, gallstones, and pancreatic cancer.
