Specialising in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer and suspect mole screening, scar and cosmetic surgery, general dermatology and cosmetic procedures, he conducts his private practice at Chiltern Skin Clinic, which is based at Amersham Hospital, The Chiltern Hospital and Shelburne Hospital.
After qualifying in medicine from Pakistan in 1979, Dr Ali successfully pursued BSc, MBBS, FRCPI (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland) and FRCP from the United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology United States, Fellow of the American Society for MOHs Surgery and a member of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery.
