Dr Naheed Khan is a highly esteemed Consultant Neurologist, currently practising at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital NHS Trust and King's College Hospital, London. She qualified from Cambridge University and completed her specialist training in Neurology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, UCLH, and Kings College Hospital, London. Dr Khan was awarded a PhD for her research in Parkinson's disease from the Institute of Neurology, UCL, University of London.
Dr Khan has a broad range of neurological expertise, including headache and migraine, epilepsy, faints, dementia, and numbness and tingling. She is frequently sought after for second opinions on complex neurology cases. Her specialist expertise lies in Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders such as tremor, ataxia, dystonia, and chorea. She also leads a botulinum toxin service for conditions like dystonia, hemi-facial spasm, and salivary pooling.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr Khan is the chair of the South East Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Forum and a board member of the journal Medicine (Elsevier).
