Dr Neeta Patel is an accomplished Consultant in Paediatric Allergy and General Paediatrics with over 25 years of experience. She has been instrumental in developing a reputable Paediatric Allergy Service at the Whittington Hospital Archway since 2006, where she caters to over 1000 patients annually for both acute and chronic allergy cases.

Dr Patel's commitment to providing specialised care for children with allergies led her to establish a children's allergy clinic at the 999 Medical and Diagnostic Centre in Golders Green. This clinic operates in collaboration with a children's allergy nurse, Dee Brown, and an allergy dietician, ensuring comprehensive care for young patients.

Her academic journey began at the University of Manchester, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in medicine. She then pursued postgraduate training at several distinguished London hospitals, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, St George's Hospital, and University College London Hospitals. During her training, she gained valuable expertise in general paediatrics and subspecialties such as allergy, respiratory, nephrology, and neonatology.

To further enhance her knowledge in the field of allergy, Dr Patel completed a Master's degree in Allergy at Imperial College London in 2012. She also undertook a Renal/Endocrine and Adolescent Medicine fellowship in Melbourne, Australia.

Upon her return to the UK, Dr Neeta Patel was appointed as a consultant at the Whittington Hospital. She has held significant roles, including Clinical Lead for hospital paediatrics and Clinical Director of the Children and Young People Division.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr Patel actively contributes to medical education. She regularly conducts talks and training programs for General Practitioners, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals, focusing on the management of paediatric allergy and common paediatric conditions.
