Mr Niall Patton is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the world-renowned Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. His surgical expertise encompasses all aspects of vitreoretinal surgery, and he is a pioneer in the latest micro-incisional vitreoretinal techniques. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Manchester before completing his ophthalmic surgical training at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion. Additionally, he was selected to complete a specialist vitreoretinal surgical fellowship at multiple sites across the world, including the internationally renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Mr Patton was appointed as a Consultant at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital in 2008 and continually audits his own practice to maintain the highest standards of medical and surgical care. He is also the Director of the Manchester Vitreoretinal Fellowship Program for International Ophthalmologists from around the globe.
