Miss Nwaneka (Nneka) Eze is a highly experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon who has been practising since qualifying from Imperial College in 1999. She is currently based at a leading hospital where she specialises in ear, nose, and throat conditions for both adults and children. Miss Eze has a particular interest in ear and hearing conditions as well as paediatric ENT.
Miss Eze has completed two prestigious fellowships. The first was in Otology and hearing implants at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, and the second was in Paediatric ENT at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. Her extensive training and experience make her a sought-after specialist in her field.
In addition to her clinical work, Miss Eze has a keen interest in research. She was awarded an MD in Cochlear Micromechanics after spending 18 months at Columbia University in New York. She is an active speaker at international conferences and is involved in teaching the next generation of ENT specialists. She has also spent several months working at the ENT department in Zurich, Switzerland.
Miss Eze is skilled in a wide range of procedures including functional nasal surgery, laryngoscopy, microscopic minimally invasive surgery of the vocal cords, pinnaplasty, sinus surgery, tympanoplasty, airway reconstruction, grommet insertion, laser treatment for nasal blockage and polyps, stapedectomy, balloon sinuplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), head and neck surgery, mastoid surgery, otoplasty, septoplasty, nasal cautery, tonsillectomy, vocal fold/laryngoscopy, and adenoidectomy.
She treats a variety of conditions such as acoustic neuroma, labyrinthitis, nasal blockage, obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), otosclerosis, smell disorders, vestibular neuritis, eardrum perforations, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD), tonsillitis, Meniere's disease, sinusitis, swallowing disorders (dysphagia), voice problems, epistaxis (nose bleeding), noisy breathing, tonsil and adenoid infections, complex congenital disorders, and hoarseness and other voice disorders.
Miss Eze has been a consultant since her appointment in 1999 and continues to contribute significantly to the field of ENT through her clinical practice, research, and teaching.
