Dr Padraic Ryan is a highly experienced Consultant in Occupational Health Medicine, providing clinical services at several private hospitals, including The London Bridge Hospital, as well as in his clients’ workplaces. He offers strategic guidance on corporate health and performance, evaluates work-related health issues, and provides ill health pension advice.
Dr Ryan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1983. With over 30 years of experience, he has held senior occupational health positions in both the state sector and leading blue-chip organisations such as Aviva, Goldman Sachs, Capita, GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft, and Bupa. He currently works across a broad range of industries, including the NHS, Met Police, and Public Health England.
Dr Ryan served as the Honorary Secretary for the Society of Occupational Medicine in the UK for five years. He has also worked closely with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, where he was an examiner for postgraduate courses and contributed to government advice on the UK’s occupational health policy. He is an elected Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FFOM), a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK (MRCGP), the Royal Society of Medicine, and the Independent Doctors Forum.
