Pallavi did her clinical research fellowship at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital and University of Birmingham. Her research MD thesis (University of Birmingham) was into chronic pelvic pain. She coordinated the Well-Being of Women-sponsored Laparoscopic Uterosacral Nerve Ablation.

She trained in the UK and India, with travelling fellowships to the Cleveland Clinic, Florida and Neijmehen, Netherlands. She has published many scientific papers and written two books. She has presented her research both at national and international conferences. She is on the education committee of the International Continence Society and the publication committee of International Urogynecology Association.

Dr Latthe deals with sexually transmitted infections (STI) and sexual health matters for women. Sexually transmitted infections include chlamydia, trachomatis, gonorrhoea, herpes, genital herpes, genital warts, genital dermatoses, syphilis, frequently recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis/bacterial vaginosis, vulval disease including chronic itch, pain and dyspaerunia, chronic discharge, persistent and recurrent NSU, HPV and HIV.
