Mr Panayiotis (Panos) Kyzas is a consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) and Head and Neck Surgery, specialising in the ablation and reconstruction of head and neck cancer and facial skin cancer. He is affiliated with The Wilmslow Hospital and The Christie Private Care in Manchester. Mr Kyzas completed a TIG H&N fellowship in advanced head and neck surgical oncology and is a JCST-recognised Head and Neck Surgeon.

Mr Kyzas is an accredited microvascular reconstructive surgeon and a GMC-recognised surgical trainer. He is a fellow of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (BAOMS) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd). He serves as the Regional Specialty Advisor (RSPA) for OMFS and is the national OMFS Lead for the QOMS project for head and neck cancer, facial skin cancer, and head and neck reconstruction.

In addition to his clinical roles, Mr Kyzas is the deputy editor of the main UK scientific journal for his specialty and will become Editor-in-Chief in 2024. He is also the regional research advisor for the OMFS Specialty Training Committee and a member of the national TIG H&N fellowship selection committee since 2014. He holds both medical and dental degrees with honours and has received multiple scholarships, bursaries, and awards throughout his training.

Mr Kyzas is a fully trained and accredited medicolegal expert, accepting instructions as a medical expert witness in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and head and neck surgery. His areas of expertise include microvascular free tissue transfer, the use of 3D printer technology, and personalised patient-specific planning in head and neck reconstruction.
