Mr Paritosh Sharma is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust. He has extensive experience working at some of the most prestigious vascular centres in London. His techniques are a blend of the latest and most advanced practices in vascular surgery. Before taking up his current consultant post, Mr Sharma spent a year specialising in endovascular techniques, an area in which his expertise is highly regarded.
Mr Sharma manages a large practice focused on treating varicose veins using minimally invasive techniques such as laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy, and open surgery. He has a particular interest in the endovascular and hybrid management of complex thoraco-abdominal aortic conditions. He collaborates closely with cardiothoracic and interventional radiology colleagues to manage these challenging conditions.
In 2015, Mr Sharma was awarded an MD thesis for his research on the effective and safe monitoring of patients after endovascular interventions. He has published extensively in his field, contributing valuable knowledge to vascular surgery.
Mr Sharma is also dedicated to the training and teaching of both undergraduate and postgraduate doctors. He has developed teaching programmes aimed at nurturing the surgical and technical skills of upcoming surgeons.
