    Dr Paul Kooner is a Consultant Hepatologist, qualified from the University of London. He has been trained in major London liver units such as the Royal Free Hospital and King’s College Hospital.

    Dr Paul Kooner is an experienced Consultant Hepatologist with an interest in all aspects of liver disease, as well as general gastroenterology. He looks after patients with chronic liver diseases including fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, viral hepatitis (hepatitis B and hepatitis C) and autoimmune liver disease. His areas of clinical expertise include chronic liver diseases, fatty liver diseasecirrhosis, viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease, abnormal liver blood tests, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, decompensated cirrhosis and endoscopy.

    Dr Paul Kooner also has an experience of managing decompensated cirrhosis and liver transplantation. In the field of endoscopy, his main interest is portal hypertension. He is a member of European Association of the Study of the Liver and fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
