Mr Peter Ayliffe is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at University College London Hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital London. He qualified in Dentistry from the Royal Dental Hospital, University of London in 1982 and in Medicine from St Georges Hospital Medical School in 1992. He holds multiple fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, including the specialist Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Mr Ayliffe was appointed as a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon and Senior Lecturer at Grampian Health Authority and the University of Aberdeen in January 2001.
