Mr Peter Hill is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in knee surgery. He began his medical career as a student at Cambridge University, where he joined the army. Mr Hill went on to specialise in Orthopaedics through the Oxford, Cambridge, and London training rotations. During his training, he received several prestigious awards, including the Army's Montefiore Memorial Prize and Medal for Excellence in Surgery and the Sir Walter Langdon-Brown Prize.
Mr Hill has served as the visiting knee surgeon at the Defence Medical Services Rehabilitation Centre, Headley Court. He has also participated in tours of duty in military trauma hospitals in the Middle East. After leaving the Army, he decided to focus on his knee practice and academic interests.
Mr Hill has published numerous research papers and has lectured at both national and international conferences on topics such as bone infection, knee biomechanics, and ACL surgery. He has also been actively involved in clinical trials for cartilage transplantation.
Mr Hill is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise in knee surgery. He continues to contribute to the medical community through his research and teaching, ensuring that he remains at the forefront of advancements in orthopaedic surgery.
