Dr Piotr Lech is a consultant cardiologist with over 21 years of experience, practising at HCA UK at The Wilmslow Hospital. He holds a joint consultant position at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. He moved to the United Kingdom in 2015 and has since developed a strong focus on cardiac imaging, particularly in ischaemic heart disease.

He received his early training in Poland within an interventional cardiology unit featuring a dedicated intensive coronary care subunit. He has considerable experience in coronary interventions for both stable coronary disease and acute coronary syndromes, including the management of complications such as acute heart failure and cardiogenic shock. Over time, he transitioned to specialise more in cardiac imaging and now holds a position dedicated exclusively to imaging.

He offers a comprehensive range of advanced cardiac imaging services, including cardiac MRI (with stress studies), cardiac CT, CT coronary angiograms, calcium scoring, transthoracic echocardiography (including stress and contrast-enhanced studies), bubble contrast echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, ECG, and other related diagnostic procedures.

He treats a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, such as cardiovascular disease in general, chest pain, acute coronary syndrome, angina, atherosclerosis, cardiomyopathy, congestive heart failure, heart attack, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, pericarditis, Takotsubo syndrome, and more.
