Dr Rachael Morris-Jones is a distinguished Dermatology Consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London. She also practices privately at London Bridge Hospital, One Welbeck Skin Health & Allergy, and 55 Harley Street. Dr Morris-Jones specialises in General Adult and Paediatric Dermatology and is highly respected both nationally and internationally in her field.
Before joining Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Morris-Jones led the Paediatric Dermatology service and the Cutaneous Infection Clinic at King's College Hospital. Her main areas of interest include moles and skin cancer. She offers fast-track, 2-week wait clinics, including skin cancer screening clinics, and is an active member of the hospital's skin cancer multidisciplinary team. Dr Morris-Jones has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing inflammatory skin diseases such as eczema (atopic dermatitis) and psoriasis, as well as managing acne across all age groups.
Dr Morris-Jones has over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to several books, including Rook's Textbook of Dermatology and the Handbook of Systemic Drug Treatment in Dermatology. She is also the author of several acclaimed books, including the highly successful ABC of Dermatology (7th edition), 100 Cases in Dermatology, and Dermatologist Tested, a myth-busting book for the general public that addresses common skin complaints.
Dr Rachael Morris-Jones has been a part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust since her appointment and continues to make significant contributions to the field of dermatology.
