Dr Rafal Dworakowski is a leading Consultant Cardiologist with HCA Healthcare at the renowned London Bridge Hospital. He also holds an NHS post at Kings College Hospital, where he serves as the quality and governance lead for the cardiovascular division. Dr Dworakowski has vast experience and knowledge across all areas of general cardiology, with a special interest in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, and acute and chronic heart failure. He works within a multidisciplinary team of cardiothoracic surgeons, microbiologists, and specialist nurses, providing a first-class infective endocarditis service.

Dr Dworakowski began his career at the Medical University of Gdansk in Poland, graduating with a Medical Degree in 1998. Following this, he completed his undergraduate training and undertook specialist training in general cardiology. In 2006, he started working at King's College Hospital in London, where he completed sub-speciality training in echocardiography, coronary, and structural intervention. Throughout his career, he has published several manuscripts and co-authored medical books. He remains heavily involved in active research and holds a post as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College London.

Dr Dworakowski is proficient in a range of medical tests and treatments, including transoesophageal echocardiography, coronary stent insertion, valvuloplasty of the aortic valve (BAV), transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), echocardiograms, and IVUS/OCT/PW guided coronary interventions. He treats conditions such as acute coronary syndrome, coronary artery disease, and heart valve problems.
