Mr Ram Moorthy is a distinguished Consultant ENT Surgeon and Honorary Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon at The Royal Berkshire Hospital. He also maintains a Central London practice at the London ENT and Balance Centre, part of the renowned Princess Grace Hospital.
Mr Moorthy's medical journey began at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, where he earned a BSc in Clinical Anatomy. He then pursued specialist training in ENT, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and neurosurgery, further honing his skills in ENT surgery at Charing Cross Hospital. His extensive training includes time at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children and The Evelina Children's Hospital. He completed a prestigious National Interface Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
In addition to his surgical expertise, Mr Moorthy is a dedicated educator. He trains future ENT surgeons at Wexham Park and serves as the ENT Training Programme Director for Thames Valley. He has held numerous educational roles, including Clinical Tutor for Wexham Park Hospital and Director of the local Foundation Training Programme at Oxford Foundation School. He has contributed to leading ENT textbooks and has been an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
