Dr Ramasamy Saravanan is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with over a decade of experience in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal issues. He sees private patients at the Spire Regency Hospital and HCA Wilmslow Hospital. Dr Saravanan gained his primary medical qualification from the Kilpauk Medical College, after which he trained at the Mersey Deanery, consisting of Royal Liverpool Hospital, Arrow Park Hospital and Leighton Hospital. He followed this training with his therapeutic endoscopy fellowship training at St Michaels Hospital Toronto, Canada, which he completed in 2007. He was then appointed Consultant in 2010.

Dr Saravanan specialises in the investigation and management of dyspepsia, anaemia, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and changes in bowel habits. He is also highly skilled in the diagnosis and long-term management of inflammatory bowel disease.
