    Dr Ravi Assomull is a highly accredited Consultant Cardiologist based in London, with extensive experience in the field. He serves as the lead clinician for cardiac outpatients at Imperial College NHS Trust and practices as an Interventional Cardiologist at hospitals within the London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. Additionally, Dr Assomull is a co-founder of the prestigious One Heart Clinic on Harley Street, a private clinic renowned for providing top-quality care and diagnostic services.

    Dr Assomull is proficient in all aspects of cardiology, with a primary focus on cardiovascular risk prevention and advanced cardiovascular imaging, including cardiac CT and MRI. He often utilises these imaging methods to obtain comprehensive views of the heart, which guide subsequent invasive procedures.

    After graduating with a medical degree from the University of Cambridge in 1999, Dr Assomull was awarded a Junior Fellowship by the British Heart Foundation. This fellowship funded his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at The Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR) Unit of the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. He then completed his specialist training in cardiology in North West London, where he received the distinguished Imperial College London Interventional Cardiology Fellowship for two consecutive years.

    Dr Assomull is committed to staying abreast of the latest research and developments in cardiology to provide his patients with a tailored, patient-centred approach. He places particular importance on preventative measures, such as optimising diet and exercise regimes, during his consultations.

His ongoing research focuses on the applications of cardiac MRI and coronary intervention in contemporary clinical practice. In recognition of his significant contributions to research, the University of Cambridge awarded him the Ralph Noble Prize in 2012.
