Dr Lingam is currently a consultant radiologist with a specialist interest in Head and Neck Imaging based at Northwick Park Hospital and Central Middlesex Hospital. He is the lead radiologist for the regional Northwest London and South Herts maxillofacial surgery service and also support the departments of ENT surgery, opthalmology and endocrinology. He participates in the Head and Neck Cancer network based at Mount Vernon Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital.

Having graduated in medicine from University of Wales, Dr Lingam pursued postgraduate training in internal medicine at the University Hospitals Cardiff and St James in Leeds. It was after this that he was admitted to the Royal College of Medicine. He then trained in radiology at St Bartholomews Hospital and the Royal London Hospital and was awarded the certificate of specialist training in Radiology. Dr Lingam has been a consultant radiologist at Northwick Park Hospital since 2004.
