Dr Matin is a highly respected consultant dermatologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. She received her medical degree from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School, University of London in 2001, where she also completed an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry with Basic Medical Sciences, achieving a First Class. Dr Matin undertook her general medical training at University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation, earning membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2004. She completed her specialist training in Dermatology within the Oxford Deanery.

Since her appointment at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, Dr Matin has been leading the specialist Transplant/Immunosuppressed clinic. She also provides a dedicated Dermatology service to the Bone Marrow Transplant clinic, the first of its kind in the UK. Her areas of expertise include cutaneous oncology, and she collaborates closely with leading haematologists and oncologists to deliver comprehensive care.

Dr Matin's clinical interests focus on the management of skin conditions in immunosuppressed patients, including those who have undergone organ and bone marrow transplants. She is proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions, with a particular emphasis on skin cancer and other malignancies.

In her role, Dr Matin is committed to advancing dermatological care through both her clinical practice and ongoing research. Her dedication to patient care and her contributions to the field of dermatology make her a valued member of the medical community.
