Dr Sachin Khambadkone is a highly regarded Senior Consultant in Paediatric and Adolescent Cardiology with nearly 30 years of clinical experience. He specialises in Echocardiography and Interventional Cardiology in children and currently sees patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Portland Hospital.

Dr Khambadkone has undergone extensive training in general paediatrics, neonatology, and paediatric cardiology. He is an authority in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of cardiac issues, ranging from heart murmurs to complex congenital heart conditions. His expertise also extends to adolescent cardiac problems, including chest pain, fainting, and Postural Orthostatic Hypotension Syndrome (POTS). Dr Khambadkone has a keen interest in imaging and performs advanced echocardiography, including 3D modelling of congenital heart lesions. He played a pivotal role in introducing innovative procedures such as pulmonary valve replacement without open-heart surgery and the implantation of the Melody valve in unconventional positions.

In addition to his private practice at The Portland Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, Dr Khambadkone is the Chief of Cardiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He prioritises patient comfort, offering fast-track referrals and same or next-day appointments, backed by world-class facilities and advanced medical technology.
