He furthered his training with an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

Prof. Doshi specialises in structural heart interventions, including TAVI, Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (TEER) for mitral and tricuspid regurgitation, and percutaneous coronary interventions. He has performed over 2,200 angioplasties and more than 2,000 TAVI procedures. His expertise extends to advanced techniques such as rotational atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound, and optical coherence tomography.

His clinical interests encompass ischaemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, and heart failure. He is actively involved in research, with numerous publications in leading cardiology journals. He also contributes to postgraduate education, organising courses on various interventional procedures.
