Mr Saif Ul Islam is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with 24 years of experience, practising at HCA UK at The Wilmslow Hospital. He has extensive expertise in treating hip and knee conditions, major trauma, and bone tumours, and offers a wide range of advanced surgical services.

He provides hip and knee replacement—including revision hip replacement and partial knee replacement—as well as keyhole surgery for soft tissue injuries and complex trauma cases. He also treats patients whose cancer has metastasised to the bones, using some of the most advanced available treatments.

He completed his orthopaedic and trauma training at leading centres, including Wrightington’s Charnley Arthroplasty Centre, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, University College London Hospital, and Royal Bournemouth Hospital. He currently serves as the hip fracture lead within Liverpool University Hospitals and plays an active role in the regional metastatic bone tumour service and the revision arthroplasty multidisciplinary team.
