    Mr Samir Massoud is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon practising at The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham.

    He undertook a fellowship in shoulder surgery at the Reading Shoulder Unit in July 2000, followed by six months at the Nottingham Shoulder and Elbow Unit. His extensive expertise spans arthroscopic, reconstructive and joint replacement surgery, particularly focused on management of sports injuries of the shoulder and knee.

    He was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to the Arthroscopy Unit at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and University Hospital Birmingham in January 2003, and has served in NHS consultant roles for over two decades.

    Mr Massoud performs approximately 700 arthroscopic, reconstructive and joint replacement procedures of the shoulder and knee each year. His subspecialties include knee surgery, shoulder and elbow surgery.
